Gasparilla Music Festival

Gasparilla Music Festival is hosted by the Gasparilla Music Foundation which is a Florida 501(c)-3 non-profit corporation.

This amazing music festival takes place in downtown Tampa the second weekend of March at Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park and Kiley Gardens Park.

The event has been hosting musical acts from a wide variety of genres on several stages since 2011. The event also features cuisine from the region’s top restaurants.

Gasparilla Music Foundations mission to support and promote music and education, an the organization is involved throughout the year in many projects which provide scholarships and instruments to music students.

CAN I SUBMIT MY BAND TO PLAY AT GMF 2020?

IS GMF “KID-FRIENDLY”?
Yeah buddy! Kids Fest is from 11:30am until 2:00pm both days and there are variety of activities planned for the kiddos. Children 12 years of age and under gain FREE admission.
IS THE FESTIVAL ACCESSIBLE FOR THOSE WITH DISABILITIES?
Yes, of course there is! There is a drop off area in Gasparilla Plaza. There are also parking options at Poe Garage. On the West side of the venue there is access between Curtis Hixon Park and Kiley Gardens Park via the ramp. Please contact us info@gasparillamusic.com for assistance to access the viewing deck reserved for those with disabilities located next to the main stage soundboard.
WILL THERE BE ATMS?
Yes. Just click on the Event Map for all the locations.
WHERE DO I PARK?
If you want to be part of the breakfast squad street parking north of Kennedy Blvd in FREE on the weekends. If you are not part of the early bird squad hourly parking is available in the Poe Garage, Curtis Hixon Garage and Fort Brooke Garage. See the Parking and Transportation page for more information.
WHAT CAN I BRING?

GMF approved items include:

  • Blanket or ground tarp (no larger than 6’x8′)
  • Low-backed chairs (under 30″ in height, permitted in designated areas only)
  • Small bags and backpacks (smaller than 17″x12″x10″, subject to search)
  • Water (factory sealed, up to 1 liter)
  • Wheelchairs and medical scooters
  • Strollers for children
  • Hand-held still cameras
WHAT ITEMS ARE NOT PERMITTED?

Please leave the following items at home:

  • Alcohol (we will provide on-site) and other beverages (except sealed water up to 1 liter or an empty reusable, non-glass container)
  • Glass containers
  • Coolers and thermoses
  • Food
  • Flag Poles & Flags
  • Umbrellas and tents (anything that can obstruct the view of others)
  • Large chairs
  • Video and audio recording equipment
  • Pets
  • Wagons, skateboards and Segways
  • Weapons, illicit drugs and other contraband
  • Balls, frisbees, missiles, and any other types of throwing objects or projectiles
DO YOU ACCOMMODATE BIKE RIDERS?
They sure do! Bike Valet will be available at Curtis Hixon Park along Ashley Drive. It does fill up fast so arrive early to secure a spot. Please check our Parking and Transportation page for more information!
